I think it's very important you feel comfortable with the person who is creating your photographs, so here are a few things about myself.

I have been a professional photographer since 1990 and over the years have had the privilege and pleasure of photographing many interesting people and places.

I have a daughter and two sons, who are all adults. My first wife and mother of my kids, Rebecca, passed away in 2010.

I have a deep connection with Prince Edward Island. My ancestors go back to as early as 1780. My Mom is from the island and we visited my grandparents here often as children. Although I grew up in Ontario, as long as I can remember I dreamed of living in the Maritimes. And in the winter of 2016 Kate and I decided to move here. We are so glad we did.

In the same year moving here I married Kate at our home overlooking farmland and the ocean. Kate is beautiful, smart, and makes me happy every day. She owns Branches and Blooms Floral Boutique on Main Street and my studio and gallery is in the same building.

When I am not making photographs professionally I am out with my camera photographing life as it happens, playing guitar, carpentry and hanging out with our critters, who include a dog, 2 cats, 3 turkeys, 3 hens and a rooster.

Apart from my ability as a photographer, I like to think I am good at making people feel relaxed and at home in my studio.
